As we anticipated in October, we have been working on a new Erasmus + project in the field of vocational education and training, on a completely new topic for us: circular economy.
The aim of the project is to tackle the theme, in the VET context, breaking down traditional barriers between disciplines and integrating the Circular Economy theme into existing curricula, in three specific sectors: tourism, agriculture and transport.
The project was approved by the Lithuanian National Agency and combines, in a complementarity of expertise, five partners: Bluebook, two training agencies (in Lithuania and Spain), a University (Scotland) and a chamber of commerce (Turkey). In Italy as associated partners: Coldiretti Turin and Engim Piedmont.
The primary objective is to select and design training tools capable of stimulating the curiosity of teachers and strengthening students’ skills, identifying possible ways to integrate the topic within existing training courses. The first phase of the activities was the collection of data and information necessary to work on the design of the first tool kit dedicated to the tourism sector.
